Early Years Educator: English Class Teacher (Full Time)
Overview
Eminent International Preschool is a nature school in Hong Kong with a focus on holistic education and play-based learning. We integrate these through inquiry-based projects incorporating the EYFS and English National Curriculum Frameworks in our classrooms and outdoor settings. We are a dedicated and passionate team and are now seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years teacher for ages 3-6, to join us in the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
Areas of Responsibility and Key Tasks
Conduct class teaching in an English/Chinese co-teaching setting.
Design, prepare and deliver activities to suit the individual needs of all students using a range and balance of teaching strategies in collaboration with a co-teacher.
Ensure the classroom and school environment are well- managed, inviting, organised, and neatly presented.
Assess and monitor pupils progress and provide clear learning targets so that all learners can grow and succeed.
Maintain individual Tapestry Portfolios of Learning for your students.
Nurture meaningful relationships with pupils and their families and provide the individual attention and support as needed.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and management as required.
Participate in school functions such as whole school events, professional development days, training, and extra-curricular activities.
Contribute to the progress and development of the school such as curriculum planning.
Qualifications and Experiences:
University degree and a recognised qualification (such as PGCE) in Early Childhood Education
Native Level English speaker.
Minimum 3 years international preschool/ kindergarten teaching experience is preferred.
Experience working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is preferred.
Personal Qualities, Skills, and Abilities:
Love being outdoors and have a keen interest in nature-based activities.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
High level of collaboration is essential.
Willingness to work alongside teachers from a variety of different backgrounds.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Teaching Assistant (Full-time)
Overview

We are a dedicated and passionate team, and we are seeking energetic and enthusiastic educators to join us as the role of Teaching Assistant (Cantonese/ English/ Mandarin) for ages 3 to 6.

Areas of Responsibility and Key Tasks:
Assist class teacher in an English/Chinese setting.
Prepare and assist to deliver activities to suit the individual needs of all students.
Ensure the classroom and school environment is well- maintained, inviting, organised, and neatly presented.
Co-operate with the class teachers to manage the classroom effectively and provide support to children as appropriate.
Nurture meaningful relationships with pupils and provide the individual attention they need.
Work collaboratively with all teachers and management as needed.
Participate in school functions such as whole school events, professional development days and training.
Carry out daily childcare duties within the school as directed.
Contribute to the progress and development of the school.
Qualifications and Experiences:
Bachelor Degree or above
Minimum 3 years international preschool/ kindergarten experience is preferred.
Experience working with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is preferred.
